This sturdy, metal bodied guillotine comes with a high quality ground blade. It has a cutting capacity of 40 sheets A3 short edge. A built in paper clamp holds the sheets steady, which prevents twisting and ensures a straight cut. Unlike most other guillotines, the finger guard plate uniquely folds down, locking the blade in a safe position, making the machine simple to store. This also reduces the most common fault with guillotines: the breaking of the finger guard, which would render other machines unsafe to use. These machines have paper guide scales printed on the base plate to simplify accurate cutting of common sizes. This machine includes the added feature of a repeat cut stop guide. This device makes simple work for repeat cutting of the same size items, such as business cards.
